UDC is establishing the Industrial and Economic Development Fund (IEDF) under the UDC Act, 2016. The Fund will introduce strategies for mobilizing resources, including domestic financing.

The future of clean energy starts with local innovation. Through UDC's investment in Bukona Agro Processors, locally grown cassava & maize are converted in green fuel for cooking, creating value for farmers & demonstrating that Uganda produces clean energy from its own resources.
