UDC’S INVESTMENT IN BUKONA
Following financial difficulties in 2021, Bukona Agro Processors Ltd. partnered with UDC, which now holds a 28.51% shareholding.

ED UDC @patrickbirungi1 said that Bukona has invested UGX 45.87 billion in local raw materials, employs 300 Ugandans & paid UGX 2.4 billion in taxes in FY25/26. He urged stronger farmer partnerships & local ethanol production to grow Uganda’s biofuels industry.
